Course Overview

Environmental Management (EM) is the study of environmental processes and systems. EM involves managing these systems and human activity influences on them. We consider the benefits humans get from ‘nature’, the impacts of humans on their environment and how to manage these impacts more sustainably.

This course is designed to meet the specifications of the 2027-2029 Cambridge Environmental ManagementI GCSE including all of the skills and knowledge needed to sit the exam. The topics in this course are generally accessible, engaging and relevant to students which makes EM ideal for those starting their secondary education, those with an interest in the natural world or the sciences, or those wishing to complement other studies with broader understanding of global systems
